It measures 2 1/4″ tall and 3 1/4″ in diameter. This piece is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition. The Francis I pattern by Reed & Barton is one of the most celebrated designs in American silver history, introduced in 1907. Conceived by master silversmith Ernest Meyer, the pattern was inspired by the lavish ornamentation of the French Renaissance and named in honor of King Francis I.
