This is a beautiful Francis I by Reed & Barton Sterling silver oval bon bon or candy dish. Bottom says Reed & Barton. This is NOT footed. It sits flat on the bottom of the bowl the owner stuck little felt pads on the botton. It measures 7″ long and 6.5″ wide. The weight is 6.8 troy ounces of sterling silver. It is in excellent condition with no damage or monograms. I didn’t polish this at all.

Hallmarks: Base is stamped Reed & Barton – Sterling X569 – Francis I – Saturn (Date Mark 1949). Dimensions: Top Diameter 8″ x Base Diameter 2 3/4″ x Height 1 3/4. Weight: 309 grams or 10.9 oz. Condition: Very good vintage condition with light wear and minor tarnish.
