This listing includes a matched 16-piece set, ideal for starting or expanding a fine sterling silver dining service. 8 Reed & Barton Francis I Sterling Silver Place/Luncheon Forks, measuring 7¼ each, in overall excellent condition. These are pre-owned and may show light signs of normal use. Please note that one fork has light scratches on the tines. 8 Reed & Barton Francis I Sterling-Handled Knives (stainless steel blades with sterling silver handles), measuring 9? Each, in overall excellent condition. Please note that the sterling handle on one knife has slight movement where it meets the blade. Introduced by Reed & Barton in 1907, Francis I silverware quickly became a favorite of nobility and presidents. This Renaissance-inspired flatware pattern has an ornate handle that is decorated with voluminous scrollwork, leaves, blossoms, and fruit. Francis I is an exquisite example of silver artisanship. There are several variations, all of which depict a bounty of fruits nestled into a cluster of flowers and leaves. All items are packed with love… And lots of bubble wrap, peanuts, etc. All silver not in original packaging has been recently polished, but it may benefit from another polish by the time it arrives at your door. Francis I Sterling Silver by Reed & Barton individual 4 pc luncheon setting with a french blade knife. This consists of a knife, fork, salad fork and a tsp. All of the piece have the newer Reed & Barton marking on the back. The knives have the newer french blade that say. This is estate silver that has only been very lightly used. Because this pattern is collectible we didn’t polish the pieces. They are really nice as they are. We are happy to buff up on request. All of the pieces are in excellent condition. No monograms or monogram removals. This is the luncheon size. The knife is 9 1/8. The fork is 7 1/8. The salad fork is 6 1/8. And the teaspoon is 6.
