Francis I Sterling Silver by Reed & Barton individual 4 piece PLACE SIZE place setting, modern blade knife. This consists of a knife, fork, salad fork and a tsp. The knives have the newer style blade, which is called the modern blade. This is estate silver that has never been removed from their wrappers and used. Our customer kept them in her silver chest and didn’t use them. They are all still in new condition. They have never been opened and used. They will need a light polishing when removed from their wrappers as they are older. This is a great way to get the older, heavier and better made version of this pattern while still getting new silver. This is the place size. The knife is 8 7/8. The fork is 7.25. The salad fork is 6 1/8. And the teaspoon is 6.

Introduced by Reed & Barton in 1907, Francis I silverware quickly became a favorite of nobility and presidents. This Renaissance-inspired flatware pattern has an ornate handle that is decorated with voluminous scrollwork, leaves, blossoms, and fruit. Francis I is an exquisite example of silver artisanship. There are several variations, all of which depict a bounty of fruits nestled into a cluster of flowers and leaves. All items are packed with love… And lots of bubble wrap, peanuts, etc. All silver not in original packaging has been recently polished, but it may benefit from another polish by the time it arrives at your door. Unless otherwise noted in the description, please assume the piece has minor imperfections consistent with a used piece. I’ve done my best to give accurate measurements, but I’m just a mom trying to help her son achieve his dreams. To be safe, please assume all measurements are approximate.
