I have been packing breakables and dishes for years! I use fresh bubble wrap and packing peanuts, and as I pack thousands of dishes each year, I do it very well. However I use the postal service and at times they do not understand the word “FRAGILE”, or they have seasonal workers. This is why I insure all boxes. A beautiful vintage solid silver serving set for salad signed “Reed and Barton, Sterling”. This is the elaborate and very popular “Francis 1st” pattern first produced about 1907. Each piece is about 9.5 long and in unused condition (excellent). Weighs about 9.85 troy ounces. The owner tells me she has never used this set since she bought it about 30 years ago.
