Francis I by Reed and Barton Sterling Silver Flatware Serv. Set 41 Pc W/ Box. This 41pc Reed and Barton sterling silver flatware service set is in good overall condition. Out of all the pieces, only 1 has a monogram. It is the preserve spoon located all the way to the right in the box when looking at the 1st picture. The preserve spoon is kind of rare, and relatively expensive on it’s own. 16 spoons of 2 varying types + the monogrammed preserve spoon. 16 total forks of 2 varying types. 8 total knifes of 2 varying types. The flatware has some light scuffing due to normal wear in the storage box. There is some light tarnish on some of the flatware as well. The storage box is in overall good condition but an indentation and some light scratches can be seen. The inside has some typical wear but no rips or tears. There are marks in the felt from where the flatware rests. Someone will have to be present to sign for the package. Exact items pictured will be sent. Beautiful silver plate coffee service from Reed and Barton. This belong to my in-laws and I wonder if it was a present for their 50th anniversary in 1979. It appears it was never used – the inside of each piece is beautiful, check the photos. I called this a coffee set because the coffee pot is almost 12 inches tall and then there is the sugar bowl and the creamer. Each piece has been measured, and it can be confirmed in the photos. I don’t see any damage to these pieces, again I don’t think they were ever used. This is the Reed and Barton King Francis pattern, very collectible, very desirable, and very beautiful, mid-century modern Hollywood Regency, in it’s glory. Please check all the photos.
