6 Piece Sterling Silver. Up for your consideration is this stunning set of sterling silver flatware, manufactured by. It is their very popular Francis 1(First) pattern. Old mark, circa early 1900’s. This pattern was designed by Ernest Meyers in 1907. This set is from the Dohrmann Department Store in San Francisco, which later became The Emporium. Set is encased in a soft, flannel bag. Bag may be slightly different than one shown in photo. I took one photo for all 6 sets. This is the final set. There are six pieces. Salad fork measures 6 1/8. Dinner fork measures 7 1/8. Cream Soup spoon measures 6. Butter knife measures 6 1/4. Dinner knife measures 9 1/8. Knives have a hollow handle and Mirrorstele blades. Mirrorstele is Reed & Barton’s trade name for Stainless Steel. Light scratches, as is expected from a set that has been around this long. Set weighs 10.7 ounces, or about 300 grams.
