Presented is a Lovely Set of Six (6) FRANCIS I Butter Paddle Spreaders by the Silversmiths of REED & BARTON. Set of Six (6). Reed & Barton hallmark on blade. Introduced by Reed & Barton in 1907, Francis I silverware quickly became a favorite of nobility and presidents. This Renaissance-inspired flatware pattern has an ornate handle that is decorated with voluminous scrollwork, leaves, blossoms, and fruit. Francis I is an exquisite example of silver artisanship. This spreader remains in a very good vintage condition commensurate with its age and prior use and bears no monogram.
