I have a vintage Reed & Barton silverplate King Francis pedestal serving tray/cake stand that is in very good to excellent condition. It is #1689 & measures 15″ across & 5 1/8″ tall. It is a high quality piece, heavily silverplated & the edges have clusters of raised French fruit & embellishments. The center is finely engraved florals, leaves & scrolls. It needs to be polished & I could not find any scratches, dings or flaws. It is heavy, weighing nearly 4 pounds. It has been stored in a trunk for many, many years & I have not seen one like it that is 15 across.
