We bought this around 1975 and it’s been used about three times. Stored inside vault, with the 3M silver strips. Only polished with the paste liquid and never dipped. Condition of the piece is excellent to mint per photos posted here. We are a no smoking, air conditioned home and compote makes a stunning display.
