Presented is a wonderful American sterling silver salad serving set, by Reed & Barton. This set is made in the classic Francis I pattern, which began production in 1907, featuring Renaissance-inspired decoration in the form of scrollwork, flowers, and fruit. The pieces are made from heavy sterling silver and have a great feeling of weight and quality in the hand. Both pieces are stamped with the maker’s mark for Reed & Barton (older marks) as well as sterling. This set is in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The spoon and fork are both about 9 1/2 inches long. The total weight for the set is 284 grams or 10.0 regular ounces. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.
