Vintage Reed and Barton sterling FRANCIS I 68 piece service for 12
This set appears to have been accumulated over time. There are pieces with both the old Reed and Barton hallmark and the new hallmark. 11 pieces have a monogram C and one has a monogram R. In addition, there are two different length knives. Here is the breakdown. 10 have the old hallmark (2 have the C monogram) and 2 have the new. 6 1/8….10 have the old hallmark (2 with the C) and 2 have the new. 12 round bowl soup spoons… 5 7/8…5 have the old hallmark (one C and one R monogram) and 7 have the new. 4 have the old hallmark (2 with C) and 8 have the new. 5 are 9 1/8 (3 with C) and 7 are 8 7/8. They all have stainless, French blades. There are also 8 butter knives, all old hallmarks, one with the C monogram. Everything is in excellent condition.
