Offered is an Exquisite REED & BARTON Francis 1 Pattern Sterling 925 Silver 68 Piece Flatware Set RARE! This is one of Reed & Barton’s most sought after most desirable flatware patterns ever made and will always be most desired. I believe this pattern was introduced in 1907. The condition of the set is very fine although you might find signs of use such as light surface scratches & or some green/black tarnish mainly in the cracks & crevices. I will silver polish the entire set if you ask me to but i know some people like to keep it in current patina. This set is a 5 place setting for 12 in an oak chest. 8 – New French Hollow Knives 9 1/4 (598.4 grams including stainless steel). 4 – New French Hollow Knives 8 7/8 (286.2 grams including stainless steel). 12 – Dinner Forks 7 1/8″ (in which 4 have the newer “Reed & Barton marking)(739.3 grams). 12 – Salad Forks 6 1/8″ (in which 3 have the newer “Reed & Barton marking)(465.1 grams). 12 – Teaspoons 5 7/8″ (in which 4 have newer “Reed & Barton marking)(438.4 grams). 12 – Round Bowl Soup Spoons (Cream Soup) 6 (in which 4 have patent dates on them)(501.5 grams). 2 – Tablespoons (Serving Spoons) 8 3/8 (184 grams). 1 – Solid Gravy Ladle 6 7/8 (70.3 grams). 1 – Sugar Spoon 6 (41.3 grams). 1 – Old Style Pickle Fork (23.1 grams). 1 – Flat Handle Master Butter Knife 7 1/8 (46.9 grams). 2 – Baby Spoons 4 5/8″ (Newer “Reed & Barton marking)(50.8 grams)(not in pictures).
