Up for sale is an exceptionally rare, antique Reed & Barton (hallmarked – old mark – see photos) Two Piece Sterling Silver Serving Set in the discontinued Francis I Pattern. Both pieces here have full hallmarks for Sterling Silver (see photos). Of particular note on this set is the unbelievably intact nature of the pattern work. This set is almost untouched by time. The stunning and unique pattern pops with texture and beautifully elegant lines and swirls. It is clear that great attention to detail went into making this set. This set is very rare and would add beautifully to a discerning collection. Brand: Reed & Barton. Pattern: Francis I (Discontinued). Composition: Sterling Silver, Hallmarked. This set is in remarkable condition, showing minimal signs of wear including minor scuffs and wear overall. There is only minor wear on the silver itself and minor and some heavier areas of oxidation present (see photos). These pieces have NOT been monogrammed.
