Reed & Barton’s Francis 1st was designed by the French silversmith, Ernest Meyer. It is a multi-motif pattern that appeared in 1906/07. It has the newer Reed & Barton mark. The fork is in excellent, very lightly used condition. It does not appear to have ever been monogrammed. It is 9 1/4 long and weighs a hefty five troy ounces. This is a superb serving piece.
