Reed Barton King Francis 7 Piece Silverplate Tea Set with Water Pitcher
A complete Tea Set with the addition of a water pitcher and the original large 30 tray – 7 pieces. This set has been in my personal collection for many years. My wife and I are “downsizing” our lives and some of my treasures have to go – sadly. I have polished the set for a great shine, no dents, or scratches. It is truly in great condition. Check out the photos for detailed photos of both sides of each piece and individual item numbers. This is truly an out standing set and a great addition to any home – elegant, timeless, and beautiful. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Coffee Pot – Style #1650. Tea Pot – Style #1651. Sugar Bowl – Style #152. Creamer – Style #1653. Waste Bowl – Style #1654. Serving Tray – Style #1655. Water Pitcher – Style #1658. Reed and Barton is, in my and many other collector’s opinion, the most prized and valued silver plate of the brands available. This style tea set was first produced in 1975. Arton and Henry Reed first started working together as craftsmen at a small silversmith manufacturing company in the early 1800’s in Taunton, Mass. They improved their craft in the company while moving up the ranks. Their work was used in the. 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, in many White House dinners, and around the world. The company operated until 2015. The set alone, without packaging, is over 25 pounds so boxes and packing materials will add considerable weight.
